Also known as Clair of Vienne, Clair du Dauphiné Profile Benedictine monk at the abbey of Saint Ferreol. Abbot of Saint Marcellus in Vienne, Dauphine (in modern France).

Noted spiritual director, including work at the convent of Saint Blandina where his own mother and sisters were nuns. Was also known for a profound understanding of theology, yet a teaching style that made it clear to any student. Reputed miracle worker.
