Prayer to St.Laura of St.Catherine of Siena

Lord, Jesus Christ who reached across the ethnic boundaries between Samaritan, Roman and Jew who offered fresh sight to the blind and freedom to captives, help us to break down the barriers in our community, enable us to see the reality of racism and bigotry, and free us to challenge and uproot it from ourselves, our society and our world.
Amen.

Intention

For all victims of racism, that God may give them the strength to remember that He created them perfectly and loves them unconditionally, we pray:

For enablers of racism, that the Lord may open their eyes to love everyone as He loves us, we pray:

For orphans, that God may bless them with His mercy and comfort, we pray:

For  government, that God may guide them to lead our country with integrity and virtue, we pray:
